Hi NTEU,
Just want to mention that you guys are doing a great job on behalf of all staff at both RMIT and other universities around Australia. I did have a question regarding salaries. Our last ETA was for a salary increase of 22.5 % over 4 years. This time around, it doesn’t appear we will reach that level of increase. I was wondering why the university would not match the previous ETA salary increases considering that RMIT is in a much stronger financial situation. Will the NTEU be demanding this level of increase without compromise?
