University workloads need regulation
In 2006, there were fewer full time equivalent teaching and research staff in universities than in 1996. Over the same time student numbers have increased dramatically.
All university staff have felt the impact of staff cuts and increasing class sizes. In NTEU’s surveys, workloads are consistently rated as a key concern.
In Collective Bargaining negotiations with your University, NTEU is claiming clear and substantive regulation of workloads.
